ABOUT ME

Vinayak Kalra is a researcher working at the intersection of AI governance, international political economy, and global risk.

He is currently a Research Associate at Explore Policy, and an AI Governance & Literacy (AIGL) Fellow with Nuelor AI, where he examines how emerging technologies reshape institutions, incentives, and long-term policy design.

 

He is also a Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins SAIS, contributing to projects on sanctions, media ecosystems, anthropology and the political economy of information.

Across roles, Vinayak’s work spans AI policy, digital trade, global regulation, and decision-support tools for policymakers navigating uncertainty.

 

He holds a Master’s in International Relations from Johns Hopkins SAIS, where he focused on technology, innovation, and the political economy of the Americas.
